When We Are Closed
If you have a serious or urgent problem requiring care before the surgery reopens it will be provided by NHS 24. If a visit or attendance at an out of hours centre is required this will be carried out by GPs at your nearest out of hours centre.
To contact NHS 24, call the usual Practice telephone number and you will hear an answering machine message informing you how to contact NHS 24 or contact them directly by dialing 111.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
